Tonight I finished shopping, wrapping and baking. I'm exhausted and ready to head to Ventura to make tamales. I absolutely love that I am part of the tamale tradition now. On Monday I will be covered in masa, freezing my butt off, drinking coffee with all of my favorite auntie in-laws, Grandma Stella and cousin in-laws!

The peppermint bark is da bomb!
Love the tree! Wish I could see it in all its glory. We will hopefully get a tree this week (if it ever stops snowing here).
Happy Hanukkah!

I found a new peppermint bark recipe and Denis said it was the best he has ever had! Three layers of barky goodness!
I LOVE the tree! Beautiful and festive! Your baking list blows mine away. I have just made a lot of cookies...last night I finished with dinosaur cutouts that the kids (the hubs included) painted! Have a very Merry Christmas!
Now that is a tree! Where is that little brown ornament you got from your friend in New York?
